Corbin Seat Question

Post by Phishhead61 »

I have a quick question for the Corbin seat owners/riders...

How does the Corbin seat bolt onto the V XII? The one I'm looking at has 2 brackets that come down off the seat pan, but they go straight down. Is there a bracket that bolts on where the driver seat bolts on that comes up and provides a hole for you to then bolt the bracket from the seat to?

Just to be clear, this is a one piece (front and back) seat.

Thanks,
Rich

Hope this image comes out. I couldn't rotate the picture so the seat is vertical but the 90 degree angle bracket is what is needed for the seat. Hope that helps...........Gator Mike

Mine came with a Corbin on it, and I had a time getting it off. The brackets don't line up so no bolts, but the seat was on there pretty firmly, and I was concerned about pulling too hard on it. the leather is torn on mine, but other than that, it feels like a comfy seat with the driver's backrest.

Resurrecting an old thread here, I just bought a used Corbin seat, minus the brackets. They look easy enough to make from the photo on a previous post. Where do they bolt to the bike, the old seat bolts? thanks for any help
