Hello!
I am seriously considering buying a new 2019 Vulcan Voyager and have a question about the seating arrangements. Can't seem to find an honest answer on any forum or magazine review about it, So I come to you.
I want to know how much room is there for the Rider AND Passenger? Specifically for the Passenger. I am 6 foot 2 and 209 pounds, I fit just fine on the 1700 (took a demo-ride in 2010) Passenger is a "Larger" woman. 5 foot 6 and "about" 260 pounds.
Assuming I keep the bike stock, Would she have enough room back there, and would she be pushing me forward, or cramping me?
Not wanting to buy an aftermarket seat.
I am a long-time Motorcyclist, riding continually since 1978. Owned 23 motorcycles so far including a 1986 ZG1200A1 bought new and put 72k on it (not trouble-free either but it never stranded me!) AND a former member of the AVA. Will gladly re-join if I buy the new bike. Already a ROK member as I own a 2011 Concours 1400 and a member of The Concours Owners Group
The nearest Dealer that has one in stock is 100 miles away and I did not want to ride all the way there and back just to find out there would not be enough room for us on it.
Thanks in advance for any imput you can give.

Re: Seating Question
I own a 2017 Voyager and ride 2 up with my wife all the time plus a Grasshopper backrest for me. We have either ridden or sat on most of the currently available tourers these days and found the passenger accommodations largely the same in general size. Foot placement is somewhat different on some but nothing replaces simply sitting on the bike. The bigger problem sometimes is simply getting on and off. If you buy the Voyager get something to prevent scratching of the top of the side boxes from getting on and off. Many owners use a chrome add on rack which works but you only need the short ones that cost much less than the full length ones. Happy shopping.
