OK, what is the secret to installing them!!!! I finally got some foot pegs that go out
far enough that I think I can run with them on, and wanted to try for winter...

When I lost (recovered it and removed the other side) one of my lowers I contacted Carl Leo and asked about the clips because I couldn't get them to re-attach. He basically said the clips are a "one and done" use, once used they are crap and you need to get new clips. So I just put the 2 lowers in a bag and have ran without them for 10 years now.
Not sure what the part number is but they can't be that expensive, probably have to purchase a dozen of them at a time!

Yes,cranky,I finally found the part number for those clips on the partzilla site.I found them under the page for cowling,and the number is 92037-1943 for $2.95 each.

How do you get the clips to grip/attach to the edge of the fairing?
I made a few pheeble attempts and thought I'd thro it out for some
laughs... GBG I'd like to try 'um to see if they interfere before
ording new clips.. Thanks again for all your help!!!!!

With good clips,it will fasten on securely.

Silicone caulking should hold them fine once it cures. It's soft enough to allow for removal without damaging the paint. Don't use too much.
