Hello. I recently acquired a Green 1999 Voyager Xii. Prior to me it was a single owner machine. All original with only 3183 miles. It's only missing one part and I am having trouble finding it. I need the dummy tank that covers the battery, airbox, etc. I found one on eBay, but its not complete - missing the fuel door and the pod that sits top center (not sure what it displays).
My intent was to restore it and sell it, but if I can't find the parts I'm going to part it out - which I would prefer not to do. I have all the original sales paperwork, manuals, soft bags inside of hard luggage are still sealed in plastic... it would be a shame to part it out. Any information anyone here has is greatly appreciated.
Oh, what are these worth in very good condition when fully restored? Thanks!

That "pod" is for the cruise control lights and switches. I moved all that to the left fairing, but then you got holes. Since I was painting my bike anyway, I plugged then. But then put a map holder over it all anyway.
I'm just saying you could probably find a fuel door, too. I might have the cruise pod I took off mine, but I might've raped some of it in my transfer. Or find a way to live without it anyway. (Do you have the rest of the cruise control?)
If you actually want to ride it, I'm sure it's way salvageable.

3100 original miles....parting out ??? NOOOO! Okay, enough drama. Cycle Parts Nation, Partzilla have worked for me so far, although I have not had to find anything in body parts (maybe body work sounds better) yet.

Re: New Owner - Looking for Parts Resources
Hey . Don't know if you are interested, but there is a dummy tank complete with the fuel door and cruise control gizmo on ebay. Looking right at it as I type. Only trouble is its off an 2001 and is that red colour, but considering the mileage on your bike, maybe have it painted? Not many around with 3100 miles...keep thinking about it! Mine is a 99 also. Love the green. Anyway, dude selling it is called "Used Cycle Parts" in N.C Wants $98 bucks for it. Hope this helps. Lucky13

Hey. Found a green fuel door, green dummy tank and the cruise control thingy for the tank. Let me know if you are interested and I will hunt it down again and pass along the info. Don't have much to do right now!

Thanks, it might actually be the one I'm trying to sell. I finally found one, bought it, then located the original - which is exactly my luck. I have the whole bike together now and I'm selling it.
