Voyager 1200 vibration
2000 Voyager 1200, 30k miles i got installment loans online for it. i have noticed a vib when the bike goes thru a dip, the vib is felt and kinda heard, i dont fell any lost of control just a very short vib when bike supension moves in a downward position, i noticed this the day after i had hit a sharp bump in the road jarring the bike. when i checked air press inthe front there was a very little amount of oil in the mouth of the air stem, no air pressure, rear 26psi, put 7psi in front air held, but still have vibration. any idea out there.

Re: Voyager 1200 vibration
By your description,it sounds like you have a dry u-joint in your drive shaft.
Under smooth roads, your u-joint is running almost straight, when you go through a dip,it goes into an angle, requiring movement of the joint.
Do a search on this forum on u-joints.
As a precaution, before, you remove your drive shaft, sweep your floor clean, because there is a tiny pin, part number 610A0406 titled Roller 4x6 that you most likely will lose.
Just order 2 extra from a parts store ask me why!
I know from both times I greased my u-joint.
