Hi, I wonder if anyone has a spare used mirror rubber mount. Can’t see them on the parts images, also not at a huge expense to send to uk. Also the mileage trip button. A rear suspension rubber, used would be fine, they are £40 new here. Did anyone notice a huge difference in bars without the weights on the end. I have aftermarket foam grips, shoiuld I revert back to stock?

If you mean the round rubber damper that the mirror folds against it is shown on the Accessory (Trunk Bracket) illustration as 92075A and has the part number of 92075-1844.

I removed the handlebar end weights, with ill effects. Because I wanted to use Grab On grips.

I also removed the handlebar weights, along with the rest of the handlebars. I replaced the weights and bars with expansion-plug pups (about half the weight of stock). But just as Don says, I seriously doubt they do a dam thing.

I just realized you may be describing the shaped rubber which goes between the upper cowling and the rear view mirror. I thought it was the rubber in the trunk you were talking about as no one can generally find that part # either.
I have never seen a part number for those cowling mirror rubbers. I suspect they are sold as part of the mirror assembly and are not available individually. Mr. Carl Leo would know for certain as he has forgotten more than most of us know now.
Sometimes they show up in a pile of left over pieces from a tear-down bike on eBay.
I once made one from some thin, black, sheet rubber and some hole punches. The rubber came from an industrial supply house specializing in hoses and sheet materials for the oil and gas industry. Not exactly the same but it worked.

I removed the handlebar weights, putting foam grips on. That was eight years ago. Neither my wife, nor I, have had any issues with worse vibrations. We've done numerous week-long tours, riding 6-8 hours each day. They are actually much better, with far less vibration for our hands, compared to OEM grips and weights.
Regarding the rear shock rubbers, I would recommend replacing the entire shock with Progressives. Get their dual-rate fork springs, as well. Much improved ride, no fumbling with air pressures, if you get the airless shocks; the fork springs do not require air. Cheers!
