Re: Road trip on the 12 and 13
The rear tire install was not fun at all . Unless there’s something I didn’t do right. Me and my friend Roger had to remove the rotor to get the rear wheel off and back on .

Re: Road trip on the 12 and 13
Set out on a five day ride trying to find sunshine and curvy roads . Didn’t have a destination in mind exactly
Breakfast time at sonic
First stop we made we had to plug the rear tire on the 1200. Rogers ride for the trip- Barry

Non destination rides when camping are the best. I've run into problems when using the same philosophy and looking for a motel. That was back before cell phones and the internet. I'm sure in todays environment it would be a non issue.

Re: Road trip on the 12 and 13
You must have done something wrong. On a bike that hasn't been modified somehow the rotor does not have to be removed to get the rear wheel off/on.

Re: Road trip on the 12 and 13
Thanks guys . Still amazed how capable a bike from 1984 still is . Talk about over engineered .
