Re: Rear shockers
Welcome, mtagliari,to the wonderful AVA family. You will find a lot of free advice on this site .The Progressive 412 and 416 does.
I have the 416s on my '99 but they are too stiff for me,they are almost like being a hardtail.
I read many are happy with their 412s.

If you look a little closer you will find that he has not specified what he owns .You may also notice he is from Brazil.cushman eagle wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 1:25 am Sorry,I see you have a 1700 ,What I said applies to the 1200
My guess would be that he IS looking for XII parts but may get lost in translations

Re: Rear shockers
The question was actually in reference to " the original Voyager Xii " but it is not shown what bike he currently rides. That little pic of the Voyager 1700 shows up with a newbie identification -- something the moderator does for some reason, I guess. How about a couple pics of that Cushman, CE. Thanks, tunnelz

Re: Rear shockers
There are two grades of springs for the Progressive 412's: Regular Duty, and Heavy Duty. The Heavy Duty springs are what you want/need for riding two-up, most of the time...
I ordered the Regular Duty springs, even though we ride two-up, 99% of the time. I did not want our ride to be too stiff... We blew out the shocks, in two month's time.
I ordered a new set of 412 shocks, along with the Heavy Duty springs. That was more than five years ago: they are still going strong, with zero issues, no leaks, no problems. Cheers!
