Where is the best places to get a starter from for a 87 everything I find is over 125.00 need the whole thing the one I had inside magnet was broke in to pieces

get a starter from a '94 or later model. It has 4 brushes and spins easier and smoother. It fits right on pre '94 models and is an upgrade to the starting system IMO.

Thinks for the advice I want ahead and order the replacement hopefully gets here tomorrow and I hope I do not have a starter Clutch issue Because at that point I am just gonna try to sell the bike
