Another oil change question.
Alright I changed the oil again on my 91 with Rotella 15w40 with filter and put 3qts 22oz back in and nothing is showing in the sight glass, no leaks, what the heck. Any thoughts?

Re: Another oil change question.
When I changed my oil a week or so back, I did the same 3qts, 22oz thing. Never even looked to FIND the sight glass at all! I'm not worrying about it, though.

Re: Another oil change question.
The bike has to be level for and aft as well as side to side
It also takes a while for the oil to settle after it is run.
On our heavy trucks we need to make sure they are level to trust the dipstick reading as they can show +or - a gallon if they are on a slope.
I find, if level, my site glass shows just below the center of the glass with that amount in it

Re: Another oil change question.
Thanks for the reply. I've changed the oil many times over the years, the bike is level and sat all night yet nothing shows. I haven't ridden it yet I guess it's ok, I know it' in there. Maybe I'll get a chance to ride a little tomorrow. Happy 4th to all.
