2003 XII - Inherited a mess

Hello, new to this forum. I picked up a 2003 Voyager with a trike kit from a nice elderly lady whose husband recently passed. The bike has been sitting for five years since he got sick. Earlier this year she let someone remove the trike portion to install on a Goldwing; it wouldn't fit so he brought it back and didn't reinstall it. He also pulled the carbs to clean them in an attempt to get it running; he either brought back some other carbs he had laying around or partially reinstalled the original set without cleaning them. There's more to the story but that will do for starters.

I'm not going to put the trike kit back on, at least for now. I rebuilt the carbs, got it running and put a sync on it, sounds pretty good. Tank is rusted pretty bad so don't know about it; it's soaking with Evaporust, we'll see. The biggest issue right now is missing hardware. Bolts are missing for the airbox, the trunk, the saddle bags, not sure what else.

for guidance on bolting up the airbox but can't make out what I need. Parts house diagrams are hard to pick out what's needed.


So yeah, a winter project. I'll get there, I always do. Nice to be here.
