Gertrude's going to pass yours soon. 99,500 and change as of half an hour ago. By the time I get done today she'll have about 99,600. I was so hoping to hit 100k by the end of the year. So close!

Yeah I could go for a 500 mile ride in the drizzle and fog. Yuck, no thanks. Errands and going out with friends this evening, that's it for 2022.

On March 3, 2024, Gertrude died traumatically with 114,635 miles (I think).

Yeah, crazy ain't it? I don't think I've put even 3k miles on the bike I have now, for a couple of reasons: 1. I don't like the bike much 2. It doesn't fit me 3) It's too cramped for me 4) After I ride I can't get out of my recliner for three days.

I've ridden the Vulcan I think once since I bought the car, and, sure enough, couldn't get out of my recliner for three days. So as soon as I get around to replacing the front turn signals (they were damaged in a blowover before I bought the bike) she's up for sale. I'm having surgery on the shounder on the 11th of February and will be out of action for a while.

Yeh,grandpadenny,I am having my right shoulder replaced Jan 29th,and do not know how that will effect my riding season
I have been doing therapy on it for almost 5 years,and it is now time to do something about it
