Best way to strip paint from the painted fender light?

Just an update on my center lower brake light..... I stripped it with the Citrus-strip, and was pretty pleased with the results! I did have some slight lightening inside and outside, even though I was conservative with the length of time that the cleaner stayed on the plastic. But, I polished it out with some automotive finish compound and cloth. For the more difficult inside, I used a tooth brush to strip, and then the same finish polish to clean up and polish the inside of the lense. Next up will be the upper center light!

P. S. I appreciate the encouragement and advice, because I probably wouldn't have had the nerve to try stripping plastic without the support of this forum, and ..... I Thank You!

I hear ya George. Even with the support of the members and experience , it is a bit daunting to mess with the lens/paint when its the only one you have. I don't want to have it close to the right color or have to really work at getting the finish right. I have acquired another lens so this winter season I am going to see what happens. I know of a few bike / builder painters that I may talk to and get some advice from them. Maybe they know of a commercial stripper they may have used or still use. More news on this later when I get some free time....
