I would be that guy... Its not just a washer, that's not what makes it a metal to metal mechanical connection for the fork brace. It is a sleeve that fits into the plastic with a washer formed on top. If you don't take care of this soon , you will begin to crack the fender. That washer does not touch the top of the plastic fender, but stands apx 0.003 above the plastic when in good condition. Just having been hit and knocked off my pony, I will not be making any items until my return from the AVA rally. You may still be able to get these from Kawasaki as they are a crossover part to another model's fuel tank assm, but they will only last one tire change.
