Rear Axle
Need some advice from those that have experienced this....removed the rear wheel today to change the brake disk and after cleaning up the axle it appears that from 1992 to today the axle has started to wear/pit near the threaded end. Not sure what the rule is for wear before changing the axle....this may not have be a problem at all, but wanted to ask!

Re: Rear Axle
A picture is worth more than a thousand words. We need to see exactly what you are talking about.
However, the axle should not be wearing at all. If it is, it is loose. There may be some corrosion where water gets in the gap between the axle and swingarm bushing, but no wear.
