We purchased a 2002 voyager X11 and are working our way though more issues than I wanted.
The latest is that the air suspension does not seem to hold air for more than 4 hours.
Is there a simple solution for this or is it a case of not great mechanics should go to the shop.
Thank you
Mike dog

Re: air suspension not holding air
Are you talkin front ? ,....rear ? ......have you pressured up both and used a bit of soapy water to find the source of the leak(s) ? fill the system and find the leaks first. I have found loose fittings to be leaking on more than one bike !
Most guys on here, have just went ahead and removed the "air system" and replaced it with
"progressive suspension" front and rear. (me included). once you do this ....your good to go !
Yeah it's a bit pricey, but once you install it , you will never regret it !......hope this helps !...Tony

If you go for the Progressive (airless) upgrade, be sure to order the Heavy Duty springs for the rear shocks... I went with Standard springs on my first pair of rear shocks, and then I ordered the HD springs on the replacement shocks.

Is there a weight concern on deciding between normal and HD shocks? Re: air suspension not holding air
I have the standard non air Progressives and I weigh 246 and my wife weighs 200 (or so she says) and carrying her occasionally has not been a problem. However our rides together are infrequent as it is hard for me to control the bike in slow turns.

Wife and I weigh over 400#, together. We ride two-up, 99% of the time. You can likely get by with the standard springs. Cheers!
