Winter came early

Post by Tonyvdb »

Well, looks like predictions of a long snowy winter have come true. We have already had two decent snowfalls and riding season has been cut short way to early :-(
Temps look warmer for late next week but I don't know if it will last.

Here in NJ, the mornings have been a bit chilly. Makes me yearning to leave work early and take a ride. I am not looking forward to the salt and calcium on the roads for NJ's wopping 1 inch snow storms.
Tony, I too am taking today to ride for a bit. Mexican food hunt. I plan to ride until I see a place I have not eaten at.
Keep the shinny side up and the salt off the tires

Peg and I had a wonderful ride Saturday. :woohoo: We needed to go to the grocery store about 4 miles away, and the bike took a turn leaving the driveway the wrong way.We rode 217 miles :woohoo: to get there passing a 3 cylinder two stroke Kawasaki  just 3 miles from our place, and a XII  on Ohio 7 just south of East Liverpool along the Ohio river.Great ride.

the weather in in northern Illinois is starting to change as well. 60's during the days and upper 30's at night at times. Have not had to luxury of getting any riding in since Junes trip to the lake. Glad you folks are still getting out. My riding seems to be religated to work transportation only.

I use it to designate V=Voyager and XII=12 for the 1200 , probably not the proper way to do it but that's my story and I'm sticking to it and I've used it so long that there is no way I'm going to change it. Sorry if it makes you crankier. LOL .
