Greetings all -
Does anyone know where I might be able to find a replacement "Kawasaki" name plate that goes on the right side of the upper cowling fairing? It is 7" long and about an inch tall and is held to the cowling by two plastic pins on the back. The pins on mine have broken off to the extent there's not enough "meat" left on them to secure the plate to the cowling. I tried Ebay with no luck unless I buy the entire upper cowling. Tks. in advance if you know a good source of parts.

3M automotive products make a trim adhesive that works very well to adhere items such as that.
It is packaged in a small roll and one cuts the lengths needed, removes the protective tape after applying the adhesive to the item to be attached, and then firmly presses the emblem onto the surface.
Be sure to use a wax remover, (tri sodium phosphate works well ), available at a paint store, to ensure good adhesion.
Otherwise, check on eBay as they sometimes show up but query the seller to ensure the tabs are still intact.

Re: Cowling "Kawasaki" label plate
I found that all of the emblems are still available from the local Kaw dealer for the XII. some years ago, when I did up this trailer to color match my 03',I ordered 3 sets of emblems to go on the back and both sides. I don't remember exactly how much I paid.....but I remember thinking that it was TOO MUCH $ $ !

You can get the emblems from ronayers.com or any of the others bike parts sites.. If the emblem is in good shape I would just attach it using the adhesive mentioned. I used clear rtv silicone.
