Re: false tank
no?? what is the problem??
1. Plug in cruise,
2. Have handle bars straight,
3. Sometimes easier to take plastic key cover off,
4. Stand faux tank cover on seat end, lower down, When you get to wire harness area, you may have to push cables in or expand cover a little, should drop right down,
5. The bottom thumb screws will need to be aligned in the holes they go into. once they are aligned push up and twist,
6. Then align the rear holes to the frame holes and put in screws.

Re: false tank
NO you aren't the only one, I too got tired of turning a screwdriver in and out for those two little guys so I opted to do the same, simply leave them out and the spring loaded fasteners have worked well.crankyb wrote:.. am I the only one that stopped putting in the rear 2 screws and just
