Battery Recommendations

Hey All -

My battery is getting weak - as in, WEAK.

Because it's mid-October, I won't be replacing it until spring, but...

Do y'all have any recommendations for a brand of battery? Retailer? Any to stay away from?

Yuasa is all I ever use. There are cheaper brands, but you get what you pay for. Google to shop

Haha - how is it possible that I've wrenched cars, trucks, tractors and combines for 40 years and have never heard of this battery?

... methinks they are a motorcycle nitch, VERY well liked in the Kawasaki Vulcan line of
bikes also, used to tide a Nomad, where I heard of ‘um.... always ran ‘um....

I am using a MegaMax Gel battery in my 86 Voyager. 450 Cold Cranking Amps, and all I have to say is what a HUGE improvement on my over 83k miles bike.

We used to sell Yuasa batteries back in the late 60's so they have been around a long time.
