Kuryakyn 7539 Motorcycle Foot Controls

Post by cranky »

... so I needed some better foot pegs with a tad longer reach than the Imgo
boards gave me. They didn't come far enough out from the crash bars for my
feet to rest on them... IF I moved them further away, in comes Kury 7539...

The thing that makes them work is the foot pegs will rotate 360* and
the arms rotate in the same plane as the clamps, in the XII case,
back and forth, not up and down... It was interesting, the very first review I read
about the pegs was from a XII rider that said they were perfect for our scoots!!!

- As the first pic shows, they do not stick tooooo far out... in the up position.
- Pic 2, You can see the angle of the pegs away from the crash bars. The extension
mounting has gear like teeth that mesh, to hold the extension in place,
you must have the clamp very tight to not have any flex, or the angle will slip..
I'm sure a washer set in the clamp to make it solid would also work....
- The third pic has the peg straight out and from the mounting bolt to end of
peg is @ 10.5". This is the only spot and only angle the bar clamp will fit!!!!! And you
won't have room for a washer, due to bar angle not allowing a straight clamp
surface. Good news is... this spot works!!!!!
- The 4th pic shows I have a nice gap away from the heat vent for summer
riding and foot flex room.

I added a Amazon pic at the bottom, note - the 1" bar clamp does NOT come with them!!!
Guess I got lucky, I got mine for $60.... if you look at the pic full size, it is clear.
