Clutch Bleeder Valve

Post by glvnthedream »

Been searching the web and as a Newbie motorcycle rider and having a a 2002 Voyager XII, where is the clutch bleeder valve. Everything I find just “says” where it is, and the pics I have in the manual still leave me scratching my head.

Yes, the question is THAT SIMPLE.

Laugh if you must and feel free to rag on me. As long as there is one forgiving member here willing to answer like they’re showing their 2 year old for the first time.

Thanks in advance

Behind the big aluminum cover (by the oil fill cap) on the left side, by the left driver's footpeg. Then look down and to the left, you'll see the clutch slave cylinder, it's kinda round and has a bleeder valve just like the brake calipers.

No, the oval shaped one right above the footpeg, with the shift pattern embossed on it.

I recommend looking this stuff up in the manual instead. It's available in GrandpaDenny's signature:

Thanks for that recommendation. I have a manual, but the picture wasn't very helpful actually finding the bleeder valve.
