reserve antifreeze tank removal
Hello, haven't been here a while, long story, but today I was changing my antifreeze and I was wondering how to get the overflow/reserve tank out/off. I did it once before and it was a real pain to get it to come out. Thanks, Mike

There's a bolt and a bracket on the left end under the filler cap. Remove those and then pull straight out to the left. It's held by a pin in a grommet like the airbox covers and can be difficult to remove. Maybe you can reach in from the right and squirt some lube on the grommet with a long nozzle. The grommet is mounted on the fuel pump bracket. Good luck.

Thanks, I took the bolt/bracket off but it just seemed to not fit out of the opening. Didn't remember about the grommet. I just siphoned out the old antifreeze. I didn't see an o-ring anywhere to check or replace but so far it isn't leaking. The next step is to check the spark plugs. Thanks again, Mike

I did take off 2 covers, one over the alternator and one below it with 4 bolts(it wasn't chrome but a metal finish). I think that is what you are talking about. Thanks, Mike
