Radiator cover for VV1700

Post by hank43 »

This probably is not the place for this post, but can't find anyplace better so here goes: Anyone out there know of any chrome radiator covers for the 1700 Voyager? and, a chrome trunk rack that fits the 1700 Voyager?
Gotta get these installed before Don starts buying up all the chrome goodies! :gig:

Kuryakyn lists a trunk rack for the 1700, go to their web site enter your make model, etc and take a look :hmm:
I entered Kawa radiator cover in search and found some on eBay

Just google what you are looking for.

Look forward to the pics, I just added a Kury trunk rack to my 1700, works great.

Take a look at the Yamaha trunk rack. It has chrome plates that support the top and plain ones on the bottom or inside the trunk. This spreads the load over a larger area of the trunk lid. I used a clear silicon sealant to basically "glue" the top and bottom plates to the trunk lid. I also used it on the nuts and bolts to make sure it was waterproof.
