Windshields with vents
Evening all, this summer is already brutal with the humidity down here in GA. Can anyone who has them tell me how effective the windshields with the vents are? Are they easy to position and do they hold the position?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Windshields with vents
Mine works well enough. Mind you, it is not like I've removed the fairing and the windshield! I get air flow, much more than I did with the OEM screen, and it helps, a great deal. The vent on mine is the same as what is installed on Gold Wings (rectangular, clicking rachet settings to adjust opening). It holds its position very well. When it rains, we just close it, and we can both feel the difference (wife and I trade positions every 2-3 hours when touring). We live in tropical Southern Minnesota, where temperatures, and humidity, can both climb into the 90's, at the same time; however, I've been in northern Alabama in the Summer -- that was like being in a blast-sauna!
Bottom line: is it worth the cost / does it work / would I buy it again?... Yes. As always, YMMV. Cheers!

Agreed. All good with the vent. Works well and holds position fine.

Re: Windshields with vents
Agree with the other posters....mine is a Cee Bailey and it works great. When I bought my bike there was already one on the bike but the vent opening "thingy" was broken so I used a tap and screw to either hold it closed or open, the new one works great and the adjustment factor helps a lot.

Vent in the shield is the way to go. Also Baker AirWings complete the air flow. They are adjustable as the vent is so you can control the amount of air you get.

Re: Windshields with vents
I went with a Clearview 3+3 and vent. Love it! I also have the Baker Airwings and though they move the air in the summer, they really help in the winter by deflecting the cold air off ,my legs!

Re: Windshields with vents
Got my Cee Bailey ordered today with the vent, went 28" tall and 4"+ in width. I feel the Kawasaki will look even better with that vent on it..

Hello
I've got a 7Jurock.com windshield with vent and it is great. Strongly built and I thought a good price delivered to me in Alberta.
