Front axle torque
I just finished replacing the tires and bearings on my bike. Anyone know what the torque on the front fork pinch bolt is supposed to be?

Re: Front axle torque
The axle nut is 65 ftlbs., according to the FSM. If that's' what you mean by pinch bolt.

Re: Front axle torque
What I would think of as a pinchbolt is what keeps the RH end of the axle from spinning as you tighten (or loosen) the axle bolt. It's officially called "the axle clamp bolt" & requires only 10 ft# of torque. It is pictured on page 9-4 & in the suspension chapter - page 12-2 of the Svc Manual.
