I finally found a good block for my Cushman Eagle. It was advertised in the Cushman Motor Scooter magazine for $250.I called the owner, asked about it ,and he offered to ship it from Montana at that price.Upon arrival I found a brazed on mounting lug[which he told me about], that sanded down nicely, and a bore that will clean up at .010.
My original block broke 12-22-13, the only warm- enough- to -ride day of December.I have been in search of an AFFORDABLE block since, losing out to 3 on ebay in that time.Peg has zero appreciation for the Cushman, making affordability not too high on the scale of, do we need it?
I finally got my Cushman back on the road today and took a 4 mile ride [This is the first it moved on it's own since 12/22/13] .I found out VXII's have MUCH better wind protection at 35 degrees than the Cushman. I have pictures loaded on my computer from the camera, now I need to figure out how to get them to my photobucket site.
