Polish Your Chrome!!
I came across an incredible find on how to polish your chrome and remove light haze rust. Aluminum Foil and WATER!! Clean the dirt and grime off the chrome surface. Fold up AL foil with the shiny side out, then splash water on your pipes or handlebars or engine guards, the scrub. You won't believe how well it works.

Re: Polish Your Chrome!!
I usually use 0000 steel wool to clean and polish.
Or paint to remove all that unsightly shininess.

SOS pads work well also. Learned that way back before my bikes had motors. Not counting the trading card in the spokes.

Re: Polish Your Chrome!!
Any use of steel wool will put scratches in the chrome because steel in its wool form is abrasive. Aluminum is softer than chrome and will not scratch..
