Radio not working on fm

Sorry, probably broken "bubble switch," not an easy fix once water got in there. Look elsewhere for XII radio repair.

?Question..... Will it switch to HS and back off? If not, the problem could very well be a loose or missing circuit board screw behind the right row of buttons. When the screw(s) come loose or fall out, the narrow circuit board will then flex when you try to switch between functions so that it appears that the switches are not working.

I can't count how many of these I've had to repair. Pete knows, too!

it does switch but I am going to go without sound this summer it works very intermittently at best and I will pull it and have it redone this winter.

This could be a broken switch as has been stated, but the end screw by the HS button is not the only one to come loose..
I often find many of the other screws loose as well as then end one..
Be aware that if it is just a loose/missing screw, it , unlike the HS screw is free to float around in the actual electronics of the radio instead of getting (typically) wedged in the cassette mechanism..
