Keep looking and the right one will come along, I just bought a 94 XII for $3700, with only 29000 mi on it and it came with a travel trailer, Star brand. I also picked up a 86 XII that I will be parting out very shortly also. All the plastic except for on side cover is there, will be selling the parts very reasonable also.

I bought my 87 for $3500.00 2yrs ago with 48,000 miles and all the chrome goodies and extra lights all O.E.M. I really love this bike !

I distinctly remember that one. I've got Galena stuck in my head, but I'd bet money it's the same one you describe.

At any rate, it's finally warmed up enough to be able to ride it.

I bought my 2001 two years ago for $4,800. That may seem high, but folk in and near the Texas Pan Handle seem to pay a little more for bikes. At 33k it was low mileage and paint and upholstery still looked new, and everything to include the cassette in the radio and cruise control works. It's gotten a lot more sun and accompanying fading since I bought it (even though I keep it in the garage when not riding).

I'll easily reach that amount of mileage in 3 years what it took the previous owners 12 years to do. Some people disdain using a full sized tourer for short trips and shopping errands, but for me riding this thing is a real blast.

I bought my '93 for $2k 3 years ago with a little over 60k on the odometer. I'm about to tick over 90k and it's been one of the most mechanically reliable motorcycles I've ever owned. Other than the occasional battery crapping out on me, it starts right up and runs like a top.

There were a few repairs the previous owner had a "buddy who is a mechanic" do that I've had to go back and have fixed correctly, but I'm fortunate to have a buddy who actually IS a certified Kawasaki mechanic AND a multiple Voyager XII owner, so when he fixes it, I know it's actually fixed. If he can't, we're lucky enough to have Carl Leo a little over an hour away to help us out.
