Here is some interesting information for all of us that live below 7000 Ft. altitude and are going to the rally in Colorado this June. It is also interesting to note that the normal temperatures can range from 75 to 40 degrees so pack clothing accordingly.

I experienced a touch of altitude sickness the year we rallied in Durango, Colorado and rode to the top of Pikes Peak on the way home, it is not the greatest of feelings.

Thanks for the post John! Only 29 days until the rally!

Yes, you flat-landers and low-landers may notice you get out of breath just walking across the parking lot but not to worry, your Voyagers won't miss a beat! Give yourself a few days to acclimate and go easy on the alcohol (if you are so inclined) as it hits the brain (and knees) quicker at high elevations!
