coolant system
I changed my fuel filter today and noticed that the coolant overflow bottle has coolant only up to the bottom indicator line. Does this system work like a car where as it pushes and pulls from the bottle as the coolant expands and contracts with temp? If so, I would suspect this bottle should be filled up to the upper F indicator line. Can anybody please advise me if there is a specific type of coolant required for this bike. Don't want to put the wrong kind in and have to do a full drain and flush. That was just done 2500 miles ago.

Re: coolant system
The coolant bottle does act like a cars, in that it absorbs the expansion and contraction of the coolant as the engine warms and cools.Any good aluminum compatible coolant is OK,which is what most cars use today. The bottle should be near full when the engine is warm.
