HF High Position M/C Lift: Adapter Project.

Post by SgtSlag »

I thought I'd start a new topic on this project. I was asked to post some photo's of the lift, along with the Redline Adapters I purchased to help fit it to the Voyager XII. Unfortunately, the arms on the Lift are around 3"-4" too short. The Lift's vertical arm, which is attached to the forks, hits the Driver's Foot Peg preventing the arms from reaching far enough underneath the engine for the Redline adapters to reach far enough across.

Removing the Driver's foot peg would buy about 2" of clearance, but I don't think it will be enough. Here are the photo's, for your interest. Cheers!

Sorry, I edited the photo's repeatedly (smaller than the limits specified), but I could not make them fit the parameters of this site. So, here is a slide show.

From your pics your lift looks exactly like the floor model at my local HF. It would be so easy to make up extensions for your fork arms and main frame legs.
