In case you were wondering, that is the audio amp in our Voyager XII's

I know you all have been waiting for me to get these posted...so without further adu...


This is the amp with the case off...

If you do remove the case, don't forget to re-coat the Power Transistors with heat sink compound.

Then I cut the DIN cord to re-do the wiring. I wish I had braided shielded wires for this project, but I hope not too much "noise" gets in!?

So there's the amp, but the lay out is going to take a bit more time. I need to pull the fairings off again and work on the sound system, but, life moves on, got other "fish" to fry, so this moves to the "back burner".

Another tip.. while its apart, resolder around the Power amp ICs .. they go cold solder. Hardly suprising considering the level of vibration they take over 15+ years..
