Ever think of just modifying a flannel pillow case?

Are you guys thinking of a windshield cover versus storage bags that mount just inside the windshield?? Or did mackbond really mean windshield cover, not storage bags?

What do you put in 'said' bag, and does it secure the items placed in it when you leave the bike?

I have my compass and thermometer mounted on the dash so I couldn't use a windshield bag. I am assuming they mount between the windshield and the fairing so you would just have to add holes that align with the Voyager?

This was discussed recently in the Voyager XII forum here. One place that sells this bags is J&P Cycles here. They call them dash pouches.

Hi,
I too was wondering what compass you used. I had a little one for my XII that lasted for 1 year, but had problems with locating it . I eventually put it on top the Cruise box. I was the one that started the thread on the windshield bag for the XII and didn't get much in the way of imagination other than the usual ones in the many catalogs that don't appear to be usable. Of course if you are able to have numerous ones in hand, you may be able to find one to modify.

I bought a bag through eBay that works well. Not good at posting pictures, but here's the link.

or just search eBay for motorcycle bag 1 pocket.

I tried putting windshield bags on my Voyager, but I found them too high. I think that they would be ok for taller riders, but I found that they blocked the lower view of the road. If you really want to get some, then as there doesn't seem to be any for the Voyager, get ones made for Harleys and cut the two outer mounting slits to fit...
