Tires
I've had my 2012 for 2 months will be needing tires soon, can anyone tell me what are the best tires to purchase. I have exedra's g721 e & g722 e on the bike. This is the best bike I've owned!

Re: Tires
I just put on my second set of Michlen Commander IIs. I got 19,000 out of the last set. They are great in all conditions and I heartily recommend them.

Re: Tires
Thanks Dave, I was thinking about Michelin tires. I can match the front tire exactly but the rear tire is a 180/65 B16, the original tire on the bike is a 170/70-16. Will the 180 work.

Re: Tires
Put the American Elites 2K miles ago on my 2012.... like the tires...back tire was a little smaller (not exact size)....bike riding smooth, good grip....running 40/40lbs....looking forward to seeing if i get 20K+ out of these as I have seen posted....

Re: Tires
Yes the 180 works well. That is what I run on the rear. I run 40/42 in the front/rear.

Re: Tires
I only got 5500 miles out of the cheap original equipment factory rear tire
I just had the American Elite 180/65 put on
The shop that mounted it has been in business 42 years
They say the Harley riders are getting 18-20 K
I sure hope that is true this tire, including labor to remove and re-install + tax =$ 350
