Ticking sound under seat fuel pump?

Hi everyone,

I’m new to the forum looks like a great place to land! I inherited my dads 1993 XII it hasn’t ran in a year or so I did get it running thanks for the carb/fuel pump guidance. I noticed a tick/click coming from around the fuel pump area is this normal? My previous bikes all had a gravity feed from the tank so I’m not familiar. I’ll need to do a few things to get her on the road this spring mostly fluids I hope.

Thanks again for the help looking forward getting on a few long rides.

Yep, that's the fuel pump working.
