Folks, I'm done with the kickstand switch. I don't want to ever have it fail again, so I'm going to bypass it. Would someone please tell me if I can just cut the wires and tie them off to complete the circuit? I'm not interested in repairing it or replacing it. I do appreciate and respect those owners that keep their bikes fully functioning. However, this is one thing that will not stay on my bike, so please share with me the knowledge of how to disable the kickstand switch.
Thank you!

Yes, you can remove the switch and solder the two wires together and then seal them up tight.
Swim, bike, run; sounds like fun!!!!

Re: Kickstand switch needs to come out.
Hey guys.........thanks! I thought it was that simple, but as soon as I would try it without asking, it would melt the entire bike into the ground?!?! My riding weather is quickly coming to an end here in Iowa. The wind was really blowing today. 15- 20 mph. It is getting a lot cooler in the mornings. I'll ride as often as I can and I'm glad I won't be concerned about the kickstand switch anymore. I hope you both have rides that always brings you home safely.
Thanks again!
