Cruise control not engaging.
My cruise control had not been engaging the last couple weeks. Started troubleshooting it today hoping that it would not be too difficult to find and fix it. Started with the rear brake pedal switch. Since I already had that side of the bike apart to replace the fuel filter, it was a natural starting point. The switch checked out ok. Moved up to the front brake switch and the wires were almost not even connected, like they had been wiggled off, except that they wouldn't stay on. They were loose fitting. So, I grabbed the needlenose pliers and crimped the female connectors a bit so they went on tight. Took it out for a spin and wouldn't you know it, problem solved. Whew. Dodged a bullet. I don't need any more hassle in my life, LOL.

It sure is nice when it is a simple fix. My right mirror was vibrating some on the way home yesterday. I was thinking that I was going to have to take it apart and do the 'fix'. Grabbed a screwdriver to take it off, and it was already loose. Tightened it up and good to go. No vibration this morning.
