Headlight Modulator on voyager XII

I am in the process of installing a Signal Dynamics modulator on my Voyager XII>
When all the wires are connected it doesn't modulate if I pull the low beam it modulates.
I believe this is because of the headlight reserve unit.
Has anybody else had this problem or know a way around it

I have exactly the same issue! When I start the bike, it sometimes works for a few seconds, but then I believe the reserve takes over. I have not received a response on this in the past, so I hope you do! I'd live to figure a way around it. I'll even help trouble shoot if you have ideas, but I haven't solved it yet...

I figured it out, talking to Signal Dynamics they told me I don't need to hook up the low beam.
so I just used the high beam side and it seems to work fine.

FYI first ride with it working I noticed when the unit is modulating the light in the dash also modulates I will be working on a solution for this problem

Every one that I know of works exactly the same way. I kind of like it, it reminds me it is on.....

Finally got around to trying this and it works GREAT. Thanks for taking the time to call them (I should have done it a LONG time ago) and for posting.
