My Homemade Trailer
Finally finished. It is a harbor freight with custom box. Tent is off the shelf for DIY. Ready to roll.

Sorry it took so long to reply and add more details. The trailer is a harbor freight model 90153. I purchased the tent from compactcampingconcepts.com who is a DIY trailer tent maker in Oregon. I made the box to fit on the trailer frame and then angled the sides up to fit the 48 by 56 inch top. I cut a door opening in the top to make loading easier. I then took 16 gauge preprimed sheet metal and wrapped the box and foldout; sealed and painted to match my voyager. The total weight is about 285 lbs with a tongue weight of 16 lbs. I added a dressing room on the tent and am currently making an add - a - room 9 by 9. I have tested it out and all works great and pulls nice. Looking forward to seeing all of you at the rally.

that's quite a trailer.... I made a tent trailer as well, gotta dig up the photographs to share....
The door is right above the fender, when I sit down inside the trailer my feet rest on top of the fender, I can step right down with ease....Nice...lol
