Have a 1992 Voyager , the nipple of the vacuum line has broken off the IC Igniter . Anyone one know of a quick fix , or should I just replace th igniter ?

Thanks for the reply David , I thought about gluing it back , but decided to just replace it , found one on Ebay , should be here by next week ! I have no idea how long it's been broke , hope it hasn't messed up anything else , starts and runs fine , although I haven't had her out this year yet .

Make sure that the "New" Igniter that you receive has part # 1248 on it and NOT 1179. 1179 is the old style igniter and can cause the timing chain to break if the battery get low on charge.

Renewed my love affair this morning , couldn't wait for the new igniter or the weather to warm up , 52 degrees and loved every minute , God I love this bike !

It was indeed me wanted to compare the two..
I had an 1179 on the 86 and compared it to an 1248 .. 6 resistors difference.. Specific 1% tolerance values but they are available..
When there are no more 1248's available then I should be able to retro fix the 1179's on request and with conditions.
