No more floppy mirrors
My mirrors have been driving me nuts latley falling at highway speeds or when hitting bumps, I have seen on here how to drill hole and tighten then plug the hole, but I just didn't want to drill a hole in my mirror, last night I had had enuff of adjusting and took them off. I took a small screwdriver and gently pryed the "bezel" that holds the mirror glass in, gently removed the glass and gave the 10mm nut a little turn, put the mirror glass back in and with a light bead of super glue around the "channel" in the back side of the bezel snapped it all back togeather. Now my mirrors stay adjusted and no holes or plugs to look at. P.S. Dont pry the bezel on the mirror side. Follow the line around the outside edge of mirror body, it don't take much to get it lose but you will have to go all the way around the mirror so you dont break the bezel.

Re: No more floppy mirrors
I did mine a few months ago. The bezels were a little resistant coming off so I managed to get a few nicks around the mirror as the plastic is pretty soft. I put them back on with silicon caulk in case I need to take them apart again. Didn't know how much to tighten them since they are on springs so I cranked them down pretty good. They are holding fine, a job worth doing!
