Windshield Rain Guard or Edging

Post by gbakman53 »

Has anyone ever put a rain guard edging on the windshild to help kept rain from running up and over
the edge of the windshield and on to the driver/passenger. If so can you tell me how it worked and
where to get it. I have seen it on bike before but they are always on the move and cannot ask them.
Thanks

Got mine from Tom (n. alabama). I like having my windshield well below my vision so the edging helps kick the air up a little. The added benefit is that the water doesn't run up over the top of the shield. The problem is if the top of the shield is close to your line of sight the edging could be a hazzard.

Give Tom a shout out and he can fill you in on the details.

What David has is described on this web page.

It worked well for me, but because I look through the top of the windshield it blocked some of my view...

It is not cheap, but it does work.
