When you get the pipes you will see that it's mostly self explanatory you shouldn't need a video.
Put the bike on the center stand.
Take the stock pipes off at the clamps in front of the rear wheels. you will want to loosen all three of the clamps and take the 2 bolts out on each side that hold them up.
You will have to wiggle them around a little to pull them off.
If you are careful you will be able to reuse the gaskets if need be.
Slide the cobra pipes on if they are like mine there is only one bolt holding them up in the back and you will need a nut in the back.
It's so simple even a cave man can do it :gig: :gig:

Also keep the old ones because it doesn't matter how fast you go you can't drive away from the noise they make :hmm:

Would Love to know where you came across those... Tempted to try some.. When Pam get on the 86 (which has the after market dual tips on the end over the stock straights for the 86 and are louder than the 94) she teases me saying "Is it running, I cant hear it".. Mind you she has a 06 HD Softtail heritage with some decent pipes on.. ;-)

When I had the Cobras on my Voyager XII, I reused the chrome cover from the stock exhaust that covers the joint where the pipes mount to the header. I prefered that look.

When I removed the Cobras the Voyager XII felt like an entirely different bike. The noise from the Cobras caused me to shift at 4000 RPMs because it just sounded like it needed to be shifted. Afterwards I would find myself running passed 5000 RPMs before shifting and the bike had a more spirited ride.

Depends what you consider to load?
They are loader then stock pipes but not obnoxiously loud like some of those straight pipes on a Harley.
They actually have a unique sound to them.
If you want I can get a DB reading off mine

Not saying they are too loud, just that above 4000 RPMs they caused me to feel like I needed to shift. They are actually not much louder than stock at idle. They came on the bike when I bought it. I put the OEM back on after I bought the Voyager 1700. Had I put them on prior to buying the Voyager 1700 I might still be riding the XII. I would rather hear the intake on an I-4 than the exhaust. Love the sound of the new Concours.

I got used set on ebay last year and I like the sound (noticable during acceleration, but really not much louder at steady cruising)..The stock pipes made the bike sound a bit to sewing machine like for my taste (and the weight reduction is a big bonus)...Too bad you can't get new ones from Cobra anymore (or at least that was the case when I contacted them a couple of years ago)...
