Headlight upgrade
Hey Guys, I'm looking for suggestions for a simple upgrade to my headlight. The trip we just returned from to the Blueridge convinced me I need more light! (May not have seen the bear on the side of the road without my buddys good headlights!) I have an '02 with the standard alternator. I have read some good comments about the "Osram 70/65w" and the "Bluhm Enterprises Brite-Lites". Any personal experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

I put the phillips motovision bulb in my '01 Voyager, but I believe the best improvement is to put more lighting on the bike. Some good LED running lights and have them pointed a little off to the sides. The blueridge is one place I will never want to get caught out after dark. Especially in Virginia. Way too many deer!

Re: Headlight upgrade
First make sure it's legal to have more than a 55 watt low beam.
Some have gone to major bright lights only to melt the light plug.
I agree with David .Add more lights and point them all over the place except in oncoming traffics eyes.
I see no sense in putting super bright lights on and then hooking them up to the high beam only . When you dim your lights it like riding into a tunnel and it's really dark out there until you eyes readjust..Point them down some so you can have them on all the time.
