Got a tech tip for Voyager 12's from your personal experiences, or one complete with pictures and instructions, here's where to post it. You can also ask about tips or procedures here.
Bought my bike, used, and it came with a similar Driver's backrest -- will never ride without one again! Unless they require my first-born, or a limb, they are worth the price. Cheers!

Got to get my eyes checked...
I wondered why everyone was complimenting the bike painting cause at first glance it looked like bad road rash and incomplete bondo and primer.
Sooooo, I took a closer look, awwwww, yes, that is a great paint job.
Oh well, I ride by the Braille method anyway....

I also installed my UTOPIA backrest over the winter, the toledo weather has only allowed three short test rides (less than 50 miles ) but so far I love it... Having sustained a back injury in 83 I've worked and rode over the decades and this backrest will sure help extend the rides !! Two thumbs up on this product Oh yeah,, about the company, "linda" who answers the phone and takes the orders is very nice and competent at her job, fast service, no complaints.

Not at all! Put the XII on its center stand, put a computer screen in front, crank up the motor and "ride" with Phill while watching his videos of his various tours across America!

Yeah ron ,,, I'm with ya...... It's kinda rough to watch his AWESOME videos while our bikes are sitting in the garage, high and dry waiting for winter to pass !! Oh well... our turn is coming.... Monday the18th it was 42 here in toledo for 12 hours,, we got in a 35 mile ride !! Then the temp dropped and has been 20 or less.... I'm not riding unless it is at least 40 ..... these days,, don't want to get sick.
Yeah, Ron, I'd actually thought of just sitting on it and making vroom vroom noises. The only problem is I'm sitting over a thousand miles south of the bike, being a big chicken and avoiding the snow. Hopefully when i return in April all will be well with the weather.

Yah, I was going to ride yesterday, then when it came to decision time it was raining and I didn't have time to put on the rain gear, so PU was put to use. Turns out we had graupel and snow yesterday. You can try to run and hide from Winter, but it will find you......
Oh well, only one day - cool (46F) when I left the house, but a beautiful ride in this morning. HEHEHEHEH

Backrest arrived today. It looks like a great product. I've got another month down here avoiding the snow to read the instructions, so even I should be able to install it properly.
