Route 66 Ride
Mary Jane and I went for a 250 mile training run today getting ready for our ride to Logan and over 100 miles of it on Route 66, in Michigan that is. We had a great day , sunny and the temperature never got over 72, light traffic and smooth pavement, it doesn't get much better than that. Rode up to Evart and had lunch with Neal Fiekema at a neat little bar and restaurant in Hersey, Michigan. Neal took us on some really nice back roads that we would not have ridden on our own, going to and from the restaurant. A great day for a couple of seasoned citizens who's combined age is 149.
