Jim can be a weird ole coot, but is a lot of fun to ride with, he has his customer appreciation day at the Harley dealership on every third Saturday, we, the Veterans Nation Riding Association does the cooking, that is free to all, we collect tips and help needy Vets in the area with bills and such as needed, Jim buys all the food and drink, supplies all the things needed, grilles, buns, tents and such and we don't pay for any of it. We raise at least $1000.00 on a Saturday in tips alone. Mr. Labar has always supported us 100% and askes for nothing other than to ride with us sometimes, he has offered the use of the park and all the equipment needed. Like I said, strange ole coot at times, but a heart of gold. He has talked of his trucking business and 3 casket factorys often, funny part is, he has so much going on, I think he forgets just everything he does have. lol A quick riding with Labar story, there was 13 of us including him riding to a fish camp in Okeechobee Fl about a month ago, about a hour ride, as we got a few miles of the camp he was in the back of the group, now keep in mind that he is in his 70's I guess, he came flying passed us at about 110 mph and disappeared up the road, when we got to the camp he was there and came walking up and said, sorry I had to leave you guys, but I had to pee bad and wearing these light colored jeans it would have not been good. lolbiker_mmci wrote:Congrat's .
