I believe the board will soon be presenting some of this type of information to AVA members but not to the general public (non-members.) Generally speaking, the dues pay for the website (domain name registration and hosting,) AVA membership in the American Motorcycle Association (AMA,) insurance for all AVA sanctioned rallies and events, publishing the AVA membership roster, pins, membership cards, postage, and other membership paraphernalia, printing and postage for the bi-monthly AVA magazine, the Voyager's Voice, and any other expenses for running an organization of this nature. None of the board members or committee persons receive any compensation.

So Paul, welcome to the forum and we do hope you will become an AVA member!

Thanks for such an insightful comment concerning the finances of the AVA. It was general enough to express the use of moneys by the organization and gave each reader a pretty good idea of the priorties expressed by the Board of Directors.
